A werewolf walks into a bar.

Tank is working as a bouncer when he notices something odd about the sexy-as-sin bartender. He’s odorless, he’s amazingly popular with shifters, and he’s terrified.

A man without a smell.

Isaac is trying to escape his past. He hides in San Francisco, because everyone knows that there are no werewolves in the Bay Area.

Until one walks into his bar.

Can a gentle werewolf with a trampled heart show a man who’s been running scared that sometimes there are monsters worth running towards?

New York Times best-selling author Gail Carriger (writing as G. L. Carriger) brings you the next in her charming gay werewolves series. The San Andreas Shifter books stand alone and do not need to be listened in any order. But if you're a stickler, this book comes after Bryan and Max's story, The Sumage Solution.

Delicate Sensibilities?

This audiobook contains m/m sexy times and horrible puns. If you get offended easily, then you probably will. San Andreas Shifter stories include blue language, dirty deeds, and outright admiration for the San Francisco Bay Area. Not for the faint of heart, or mouth, or tongue.

The books are well written and narrated. As a gay man it’s an amazing escape from every day life and you fall in love with each of the characters because even though their supernatural you can relate.

A pure joy

As always Gail writes amazing stories and Kirt brings each character to life with aplomb. Although there is adult content in this series it is not written in a way that makes you feel uncomfortable. It is written with love in mind and as a way to express that love. I've read other reviews where they say that they fast forward through the same sex interactions. This I feel is sad because how they interact is an important part of the story and you could miss an important message. Also I didn't feel like these sections were there for the sake of it. They're there because whoever we are and whoever we love isn't important, it's just important that we love someone. I am now going to listen to Judd and Collins story. Once again Gail keep up the good work and many more books please.

An excellent book and narration

Realistic, superbly relatable characters with very human strengths and weaknesses, set in a fantastic reality (or a realistic fantasy, if you prefer :-D). I just love the world she creates and I really look forward to the next book coming out.

Would give this more than 5 stars if I could

Another excellent book by G L Carriger, smoothly following on from the previous book in the series. Very well read again too. A very good plot, with a mix of humour, character-building / expansion, a little intrigue and romance of course. Developing the story of the San Andraous Shifters. I'm not interested in descriptions of gay men's sex, but those parts can easily be skipped and if it's not your thing it's worth skipping to enjoy the rest of the book. Audible or another publisher should be supporting such an excellent author as G L (Gail) Carriger to make sure all her other books are recorded and available in the UK.

G L Carriger hits the mark again!

The story and characters  are engaging and the narrator has very distinctive voices for each character, always a plus for me.

Enjoyable Story
