The instant Sunday Times and New York Times bestseller

"You are someone who will look the impossible in the face and tell it to sit down and shut up. The world needs that. The world needs you.”

A thousand strangers receive the invitation. One hundred make the cut. An unprecedented competition from MrBeast, the world's #1 creator with more than a billion followers, and James Patterson, the world's #1 bestselling author, where the stakes couldn’t be higher.

The Games begin in Antarctica, where one wrong step on the ice kills you, and they never let up: Shark water off a remote Chilean island, desert heat that cooks you where you stand, storm-battered peaks, and caves so black you cannot find your own hand. No rescue. No second chances. A billion dollars to whoever is still standing.

Then the terrain stops being the thing that can kill you, and the other players start. Alliances turn into ambushes. Trust becomes the sharpest weapon. And somewhere above it all, a hidden voice is watching every move, testing, deciding who deserves to survive.

From MrBeast and James Patterson: an unputdownable survival thriller about what people will do to become The One who can save the world.

Didn’t get exciting, didnt go anywhere. I got bored mid way through. The associated game was ok, but again needed to be done at certain times, ideal for the jobless and retired.

A bit dull, doesn’t really go anywhere

curiosity got the better of me with this one, I read a lot of James Patterson when I was younger and thought I'd give it a go. The story is boring, characters are really 2 dimensional and clichéd - Mr Beasts inclusion is very odd. the worst thing about it is that it's just boring. I really had to push myself to finish this one.

one of the worst books I've encountered in a long time

I read a lot of James Patterson books and this has to be the worst one yet. Boring story and characters. Long gaps of silence and annoying dramatic music make it worse. It was a difficult listen and had to really work hard to finish it.

Terrible

Really good series, there is a bit of a lull halfway through but nothing that made me want to turn the audiobook off. Really good story and narration

Really good
