Four shipwrecked divers, one mermaid princess who longs for the freedom to choose...or not.

Destined to marry the gorgeous, high-ranking Kai and inherit the throne from her grandfather, Princess Coral is the envy of every mermaid in the shoal. But all she really wants is the freedom to decide her own fate.

When Coral runs away from her own wedding and escapes to the land, she knows the clock is ticking. She has five days before her human body will succumb to the curse that binds all mermaids to the sea. Overwhelmed by the harshness of a deserted island, Coral is ready to accept her fate and return to the shoal, but with the arrival of four shipwrecked divers, Coral starts to understand why her mother was lured away by the human world.

When Coral is given the choice she always wanted, will she make peace with her destiny, or risk everything to forge her own path in a whole new world?

I can’t believe this audiobook! I was listening while cleaning up and i ended up laying on the floor just listening. I didn’t even remember listening words at one point and i believed i was stuck on the island.
Went trough this one like a bullet! I need the others!!! This mermaid story is stuck in my heart! And the multiple boys as well... love it!

Really enjoyed this story! It was my first audio book and definitely won’t be the last. I am an avid reader, but found I really enjoyed having the story read to me.
This story is captivating! Coral (a mermaid princess), caught my imagination, as did her story. As a RH story, each of her men had their own strengths and attractions and as characters were not heavily linked, (they had been in a boat together) which added to the depth and excitement of their and Corals growing relationship. I really enjoyed the communication issues that were included in the story, being a mermaid meeting humans for the first time and Corals take on their thoughts and explanations. I found myself smiling and laughing quite a lot. I would definitely recommend this audio book. Book 2 is currently out in ebook, so I’m heading over to my kindle to carry on their story as I cannot wait!

It took a little while to get into but I ended up liking this book. I found the narration a bit flat and before the dialogue got going l didn't really warm to the characters. By the end though I was really rooting for things to work out for the gang.

I'll read or listen to the second in the series to see what happens next.

Worth a listen.
