War is coming. With the reappearance of the Tuatha De, the countryside is thrown into chaos. Entire villages have been obliterated. Magic users are suffering persecution along with the Faie, leaving droves of refuges to wait outside the gates of the great cities, hoping for the acceptance that will never come.

After a brief reunion with her companions, Finn is stolen away during the night by an unseen foe. Lost and alone, she must put her trust in a stranger if she hopes to reach Migris alive. Yet, nothing is as it seems, and those she trusts most may very well be the ones to betray her.

Could have compressed this 4 book series into just 2 books and would then be worth the credits. Not bad listen with interesting bits

Good book. Read first book. Lots of twists and deception. This book decided to listen to narrator.
Wasnt the best mix characters accents.
Won't read next series as interest and unanswered questions not developed within story

Girl who was a tree

if this book was read in the readers own accent I could've paid more attention to the book itself. as it stands the accent was like nails down a chalk board

the Irish accent is horrendous

The narration of this book really distracted me from the story itself. It really wasn’t great. I had to slow it down a bit which helped.
The story was ok but seemed to take a long time to get anywhere. I’m not sure I will continue with the series

Not brilliant
