Black water, dark skies, a reckoning like no other

A new threat has sailed in on the tide and is haunting the waterways of London.

DCI Fleet is struggling to control his gift and can no longer tell reality from illusion.

Meanwhile, Uncle Charlie is making trouble from his prison cell, proving how hard it is to keep a Crow caged.

Worst of all, the truce between London’s four magical Families lies in ruins. If Lydia can’t rebuild it, and fast, all will be lost.

London is Lydia Crow’s roost… But for how long?

Don't miss the eighth instalment in the bestselling urban fantasy mystery series, Crow Investigations.

I've thoroughly enjoyed all 8 books of this series. Following the families and of course Lydia and Fleet. I'm hoping there is more to come from this world, it feels like it's only just starting.

Great ending for a fabulous series

Huge Sarah Painter fan. Love the Crow investigation series. This was great at usual. just felt a bit like it was rushed into publication. Maybe needed a teeny bit more editing with repetition of words etc. But I am being a bit picky. Must be hard when you have fans clamouring for the next instalment. Enjoyed it very much. Now I have to wait for the next one.

I have been hanging out for this book.

…. the story seemed a bit flat. Normally she has a case to investigate but this series concentrated on other issues. I just felt that the story line could have been better dealt with particularly about Fleet’s dad. But I guess that’s the next installment!

Very good but ..
