Long ago, the Builders ruled the stars, using a unique super-science to create marvels and wonders. But the Builders vanished - no one knows why - leaving many of their treasures hidden throughout the galaxy.
Now, Captain Maddox and arrogant New Men learn about the fabled Library Planet. Legend holds it’s an ancient repository of Builder knowledge. The side that plunders the planetary vaults first will surely become the premier power in the Orion Spiral Arm.
The race is on, but with many unforeseen dangers including deadly ghost-ships, possible time-travelers, and cunning spies - others desire what lies inside the Library Planet.
This will prove a desperate struggle as puny humans led by Captain Maddox try to wrench an advantage for Star Watch, and as a grim menace of unparalleled horror slowly unfolds before them. The Lost Secret is the 14th book in the Lost Starship Series.

The heart of "The Lost Secret" revolves around the enigmatic Library Planet, a repository of Builder knowledge that holds the promise of unrivaled power. Captain Maddox and his crew, along with a backdrop of cunning spies, potential time-travelers, and perilous ghost-ships, engage in a race against time to unlock the planet's secrets. This plot forms a captivating backdrop, guiding readers through a tapestry of suspense and unexpected twists.
Despite its action-packed course, "The Lost Secret" takes moments to explore philosophical themes, an element that may not resonate with every reader but personally resonated with me. These musings contribute a layer of thought-provoking depth to the narrative, elevating it beyond the boundaries of a traditional space adventure.
The narration, a pivotal element of the experience, brings the characters and scenarios to life in vivid detail. The synergy between storytelling and narration captivates the imagination, making the cosmic journey feel both immersive and dynamic.
As I reflect on this installment, I recognize its role as part of a grander cosmic saga. Each book in the series adds to the overarching narrative, weaving a rich tapestry that evolves while retaining the essence of the familiar. "The Lost Secret" stands as a testament to the series' ability to engage and surprise, even as it reaches its fourteenth chapter.
In conclusion, "The Lost Secret" ventures into uncharted territory, inviting readers to explore new concepts while navigating philosophical terrain. As the journey unfolds, I eagerly anticipate the revelations that lie ahead, embracing the captivating blend of imagination and intellect that defines this expansive and captivating cosmic odyssey.
