A chance encounter. A plea for help. A detective too tired to care.

Brandon Beck hanged himself, or did he? Was it suicide or cold blooded murder?

On a cold dark night in February, Harry Starke runs into someone he hasn’t seen in almost 25 years.

The man has a problem. He asks Harry for help. Harry turns him down, and thus becomes the last person to see Brandon Beck alive.

Did Beck hang himself? Was he murdered? Either way, why? Harry Starke, now the prime suspect, vows to find out.

The Lolita Conspiracy by Blair Howard is the fourth novel in the best-selling Harry Starke Genesis series.

Harry wants a rest, a break from his PI business, and tells the others in his employ that he'll be taking a few days out. But Harry wasn't so sure: Brandon had asked him for help, wanted him a 'muscle', and had stormed out angrily when refused. So he couldn't help himself. Harry started to investigate ...

The Lolita Conspiracy is another excellent detective story in the Harry Starks series from Blair Howard, with engaging characters and fast action plot line, well narrated by Tom Lennon. My thanks to the rights holder who, at my request, freely gifted me with a complimentary copy via AU. This is book 4 in the series and they just keep getting better. Each one is also stand alone. Recommended.
