It is bitterly cold, and the Little Match Girl is walking the icy streets in bare feet, trying to sell just one box of matches so she can go home and get warm. But no one wants to buy....
A magical retelling of the classic tale, read by Tamsin Greig.

opening an abundance of Christmas presents & there on screen was a beautiful small child with no shoes on her feet & no coat to keep warm as she stood in the freezing cold snow waiting for a customer to buy her matches. All presents forgotten as I watched in awe as this little girl lit match after match to light up her dreams to be with her loved ones.
I felt so lucky & so loved. Thousands of children lived like her up to the early 1900's.
A well read story that will warm your heart.
