Özet

Tragedy and terror threaten one brave Jewish girl during the Holocaust in this inspiring war story about never giving up.

Fourteen-year-old Rivka Resnik survives the brutal massacre of her family in Lithuania, only to spend the rest of the war fighting as a partisan against Nazi forces, then surviving as a prisoner in Auschwitz. Finally rescued and sent to America, Rivka soon faces the SS officer who commanded the death squads that murdered her family. Now, it is Rivka’s turn to become the hunter.

In this historical thriller set during the Holocaust, author Tom Reppert masterfully depicts one young woman’s harrowing experiences across Europe and the United States.

I found the very American accent of the narrator very difficult and jarring over a story set in Europe. But the book is marvellous, so maybe my issues are just personal to me.

Fabulous but I found the narration difficult.

Another brilliant story, never repetitive, it’s gripping, historically reasearched, incredibly sad, with a satisfying ending. I’ve enjoyed all Tom’s books, I’m not interested in the sci-fi one.

Brilliant

Well I think that's the last of Tom Reppert's books for me to read.. Gripping... All of them.
This one in particular, edge of the seat excitement, sometimes hard to listen to with the reality of the Holocaust but such a good story and as for the narrator, I can easily say the best I've ever listened to.

Brilliant !
