In 1953, two monks in a monastery in the small town of Korsakov, Moldova, suddenly disappeared mysteriously; they were never found. Years after this, four boys playing in the courtyard of the monastery also disappeared. At the time of disappearance, all victims see the same thing: glowing green eyes.
Two years after Olivia Newton, journalist and adventurer, retired from an adventurer's life, she is visited by disheveled Russian scientist Alexander Olav. He tells her about the government's conspiracy to make the ultimate weapon. Olivia dismisses this man's claim, throws him out, and slips back into her quiet life until the man is murdered, and the documents that he once showed Olivia are missing.
In a race against time, and against the most advanced - and crooked - piece of technology the world has ever seen, Olivia sets out to Moldova to meet a nightmare that will follow her back to Miami.
Men who reach through spectrums outside human vision to kill, an organization out to create a future where only a few would survive.
The world is hung on a balance. Can Olivia heal from repressed pain from her losses and face spectral eyes that don't die?
