“The cast is superbly developed…Likewise, the backstories enthrall.” —Kirkus Reviews
“A seemingly meek boy may be the one prophesied to save a secret magical world in… this diverting fantasy with series potential.” —Kirkus Reviews
Joe Sabir has never known his birth parents. He was found as an infant in the hollow of a twisted old tree by a wood carver named Shohar Sabir. Together they live a very isolated existence deep in the mountains of Kasha.
Shohar loves to tell his son many wondrous stories around the campfire. Marvelous tales about the little mystical creatures known as the Huzars or about the great giants who sleep all around Mt. Emir, known as the Telars.
For Josea these are all just fantastic tales, but what he doesn’t realize is that one day, he and his friends Jesine and Ben will find them all coming true!
This is the perfect bedtime story to share with children because it blends magic, mystery, excitement and adventure with important life lessons.
