The army base had been an ideal refuge, secure and well-stocked. But with supplies running low and Gus Razor’s worsening mental state, Frank and Lisa leave in search of pastures new, only to end up in the worst place imaginable—the one place Frank vowed he would never return to.

Amy and Ben should have been safe in the secluded cottage. But they’re not the only survivors. Some mean no harm, struggling to survive. But others have a far more sinister agenda.

Book two of The Virus series is a brutal, graphic journey through a post-apocalyptic world, where zombies aren’t the only evil to contend with.

This is a brilliant second book in the Virus series. Like catching up with old friends it's good to see what Gus, Frank and Lisa and the rest of the gang get up to next as they have to leave the army camps relative safety to go foraging for supplies. A few surprises await them as they revisit one of the places this whole series started. It is well written with interesting characters and Simon Aitchison does a superb job of bringing them all to life with his narration. Highly recommended but do listen/read the first in the series before this one.
I was kindly given a copy of the book by the narrator and leave this honest review.

Loved it!
