The human was an expert sniper-and a psychopath. He had never failed in the past when he stalked human prey. But now he is on an enemy planet, and his prey is anything but human.

The Darhel are a race with a highly developed empathic sense. Long ago, they learned that they cannot deal death to another intelligent being without being destroyed by the death agonies of their victim. Even though they have been manipulating other species behind the scenes for millennia, including the humans of planet Earth, they cannot bear to kill another being, and depend on other, less sensitive beings, to do their dirty work.

But now one of the Darhel must kill or be killed. And the fate, not only of his own race, but all of humanity, is riding on his survival. The course of the next thousand years will be determined by whether or not he can learn to fight back. If he cannot, it will be too late...for the entire galaxy.

Where does The Hero rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

The Top and enjoyable, likeable and fun.

What other book might you compare The Hero to, and why?

Like I stated in all of my reviews to Chris Fieldwater's books IRA Intrusion, is one

Have you listened to any of Marc Vietor’s other performances? How does this one compare?

I liked the Ghost and follow on books, I did not enjoy the sex to detailed, but I over looked that because I love a good read or in my case audio books.

If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Hell is like a walk in the park,

Any additional comments?

Keep writing,

As always ten out of Five, thats how good they are

We left earth being overrun by Posslean, to skip randomly a thousand (?) years into the future? Why? I’m expecting continuity between books in the series. And there aren’t really any characters here you want to root for either.

Is this book out of order?

Being book 5 I Wrongly I assumed it was the next book in the Posleen Wars
