The Harvester is a gentle love story set in the beautiful natural forests and swamps of Indiana. David Langston, a man steeped in nature, herb lore and forest craft, spends his life growing many medicinal herbs and roots that he sells to the drug industry of the day. He is a strong, moral young man with a set purpose in life of trying to reduce human suffering.
One day he has a vision of his dream girl and goes seeking for her in the city. The story that slowly unfolds changes his life forever.
The descriptions of the plants and the woods are fascinating and beautiful - you can imagine yourself there.
Well narrated.
