A window is but a piece of glass through which we view the world outside. It is not meant to distort. It is not intended to do anything but show us things as they are.

At Oxford, though, there is a very particular window that reveals a very particular view. It is a view that defies all laws of nature and science. And when a detective is called in to investigate, he is startled to find that view opens a window into his own life–and a mystery he has never been able to solve.

The Girl Who Wasn't There is written by Arvind Ethan David and stars Malachi Kirby as Ernest Underwood and Sarita Choudhury as Sara Adler-Denning.

Earworms is a series of short, speculative fiction dramas–tales of what might have been...or might yet be...or perhaps in fact are, if only you were paying attention...if only you were listening.

Wow this kept me gripped from start to finish. A very intriguing storyline. So unique and interesting. The characters resonated with me because I too am a brown person from America now living in England. Too bad this was just a short story. I hope there’s more from this author.

Interesting to the quick end

It’s an interesting premise which is tied up in the end neatly and quickly. Performances are solid.

I thought this was very cleverly written for a short story, thrilling, thoughtful, insightful, especially for a short story

An interesting twist on a timeline

A potentially interesting, albeit not new, premise and an extremely poor development. Lazy characterization, silly dialogues. Not to talk about the ending (and the final "twist") that we have already seen in at least one thousand and one books and films! I won't listen to any of his other audible audiobooks, that's for sure.

A short story full of cliches

I get Audible is hungry for content but if you asked ChatGPT to write a romantasy it could not have done a worse job. Really cynical attempt at blacksploitation meets Brideshead by a posh public schoolboy who appears to have zero understanding of character or authenticity. Really odd casting. Why are Brits putting on US accents in Oxford? This is genuinely the worst Audible content I’ve ever listened to.

Felt sorry for the actors
