While attending a funeral, a woman claims her daughter was kidnapped.

Except…it appears she doesn't have a daughter after all.

Normally, this would clearly indicate the absence of a crime, but Becca isn't so sure. There's something fishy going on, and she's determined to get to the bottom of it.

As she peels back the layers of secrets and lies, what she unravels is far bigger than she ever imagined.

The Girl Who Wasn't There is book six in the Secrets of Redemption series, which is best enjoyed in order. This book ends on a cliffhanger, which continues through book seven, The Room at the Top of the Stairs, and is resolved in book eight, The Search.

I’ve loved this series the balance between supernatural and realistic was just right. Unfortunately this book was short and predictable and nothing happens. It ends just when it seems like it’s going to kick up a gear.

Short and predictable

I have really enjoyed this series. However, the last two books have been much shorter and there is so much repetition. Coffee, Wine, Tea. Smile doesn’t reach the eyes etc. they’re becoming predictable and I find myself eye rolling.

I was disappointed with the sudden end of what seemed like a fairly drawn out story. Won’t leap to pre-order next episode sadly.

These books are getting shorter and more predictable

I love this series - intrigue, mystery, good characters but this book nothing happens! It is very repetitive and falls very flat and unbelievable in many places. Hopefully the next in the series is much much better!

Love the series but not this book!

I love this series of book, but with this one, I genuinely have been questioning myself, did I fall asleep, have a Weird episode, what? Nothing happens, absolutely nothing… I’m really not sure what the point of it was.

I think maybe I’m missing something…
