Özet

Here, for the first time in one volume, are the first three books of the internationally best-selling The Ghosts saga, featuring Child of the Ghosts, Ghost in the Flames, Ghost in the Blood, and the bonus short story "Ghost Aria".

When her life is torn apart by sorcery and murder, young Caina Amalas joins the Ghosts, the legendary spies and assassins of the Emperor of Nighmar. She learns the secrets of disguise and stealth, of assassination and infiltration, and grows from a frightened child to a Ghost nightfighter - a woman who can face the most terrible foes and prevail through boldness and cunning.

But even that might not be enough to save her. For, the evil that destroyed her family seeks to devour the entire world.

The story lines are pretty entertaining. The only drawback is the distraction caused by the ridiculously affected speech of the reader

Ok story

A great bundle introduction to an exciting series of quite involved stories. The narrator has all the voices to bring the characters to life. Recommended.

Exceptional narrator

The premise is not unique but is very well done. The flow of the writing is great and the surprises well done, but the narrator is awful. Flat and odd pronunciation particularly the letter i. Made it almost unlistenable for me. Bought the book to enjoy the story better.

Good story but

The story is enjoyable enough but the narratir is dreadful with some if the voices she put. There are far better out there.

Good story dreadful narrator

While the stories and characters were of enough interest (although rather stereotypical for the genre) to want to know more, the narrator was absolutely awful and made it unlistenable!

Can only assume the narrator is American trying to speak with an upper class English accent, (for the main character) but fails spectacularly, to the point of some of the words not making sense, as so poorly pronounced!

If you can get past the awful narration then you may enjoy the stories, but it was utterly ruined by how awful it was!

One of the worst narrators ever!
