Not only is this book incredibly informative, it's also very funny.
It's not often as a grown-up that someone makes you sit up and re-examine not only your own identity, but your attitudes to an entire social group. But that's the effect this thoughtful, articulate woman had on me. ... Dawson's book is eminently readable and often very funny.
Informative and entertaining. I'd recommend it to anyone and everyone: we all have something to learn about gender.

I enjoyed that the narrator was the author, so her emphasis and tone added nuances to the meaning that made her true meaning clear. Easy to engage with. An easy listen in that it was compelling. Contains useful advice.

I loved this book so much. Juno shares her life experience in such an open, personal and funny way. She’s a fantastic writer so it’s a great story and as an additional bonus you get to learn lots about the experiences a trans person might have and get a chance to become a more authentic ally if you’re a cis person or even just less prejudiced as a first step. Thanks for your honesty and openness Juno!

a great book to listen to, I love Junos narration and the book has some excellent points. everyone should read this book

This is a fantastic listen. I'd recommend it to anyone interested in gender. It's written with a great understanding of how gender effects people everyday; making you question the world around you. The writing is hilarious and entertaining throughout.

Part memoir, part social and societal study on the impact of Gender. This was a really fascinating read. I'm glad I chose to listen to the Audiobook. Juno's friendly and conversational writing style/ narration, helped me navigate easily through the vast topics this book covers.

I'd definately urge everybody to listen to this book. It is a book that definately makes you think; about the true societal impact of Gender norms.
