Oliver Postgate
This complete children's audiobook collection brings together the six original Ivor the Engine stories in which listeners first meet Ivor, Jones the Steam and the Merioneth and Llantisilly railway. Across these classic black-and-white adventures, Ivor hears the choir, dreams of joining it and eventually finds the musical voice that will make him a legend in the top left-hand corner of Wales. Created by Oliver Postgate and Peter Firmin and read by Oliver Postgate, it is the perfect introduction to a timeless Smallfilms favourite.
Across these six much-loved stories, Ivor first hears the choir, searches for a better whistle and finally discovers the musical voice that lets him sing with the Grumbly District Choral Society. It is the ideal starting point for new listeners and a nostalgic return for lifelong Ivor fans.
