An enjoyable read you won't be able to put down
The plot is every bit as twisty-turny as readers have come to expect from Grisham: read it now and smugly tell friends you know what's going to happen when the movie is made

[Spoilers] This story develops as a kidnapping case. It was OK, lots of talent still in engaging story writing. The story had a predictable conclusion. It was hard to invest in the characters. The research for the book seems thorough. Another reviewer criticized the narrator; agreed, but it wasn't a deal breaker for me.
