I think I may have purchased this during a sale because I tend to stick with authors and narrators that I know but these are all new to me. The book is really very good, well paced, some good twists and turns. Narration is spot on. I’d def buy this author and narrators again.

I loved this all the way through until the odd ending , i did guess the killer early on. Characters completely changed their personalities and everything was swiftly explained away.

Not for the faint hearted. Brilliant debut novel/thriller by Sam Holland and fantastic narration by Sarah Lambie and Leighton Pugh.

Brilliant debut novel

A slightly nauseating tale relying on graphic sadism to stumble along.
Needed a bit more than long, repetitive narratives of soul searching introspection to keep the gore from becoming tedious.

Brilliant story, well read and kept me on the edge of my seat. I had suspicions about the killer but was still surprised by the ending. Talking of which, because of how it ended, I expected book 2 to follow on in some way, but reading the synopsis, it dosnt seem to have the same characters in it which is what I wanted. With all good books you become invested in the characters and want to see how their lives continue, so I'll keep watching in case the author continues with this particular story line. Would have gone straight to book 2 but the terrible reviews for the narrator, put me off, so have jumped to book 3 which seems to have one familiar name in it.
