After narrowly escaping Rogue City, Ben travels north into the Deschutes Territory in hopes of finding sanctuary, if only for a little while. His respite is brief and his hunters are persistent. Within a few days he's on the run again.

Ben must negotiate the desert, the underground, and the unknowable perils of magic if he is to recover the Dragon's Codex, the only known book of magic in the world, and his best hope for finding a way to stand against the wyrm.

I enjoyed book one enough to give book two a chance and I am glad I did, the story and characters expand greatly, it is filled with so much action and well thought out plots plus the progression of the tech and magic left me on the edge of my seat

I definitely recommend reading this book ☺

Interesting taken on the future world... liked the story, can’t wait to download the second half...

A good car book easy to follow, put down and pick up again. Nice plot twists. Downer is you get into the series and have to wait but will listen to it again before the next book.

A dragons revolt

Book two continues the story and introduces new characters. By the end of the book I thought there was too many characters and that spoiled it a little. Although overall it was still fast paced with a decent story there was several times when it became a little too "samey" and I found my mind wandering, which, with this book was no good as new characters were popping up to often and I had to rewind to find out who they were for it all to make sense.

A very good read

great story of the fantasy kind mixing sci fi and fantasy in a clever way. It's more fantasy than sci fi which I enjoyed .over all a real great book, but the one thing I will say is I wish the word "said" could have been replaced occasionally.

great story
