In The Devil Duke, the beautiful but scheming baroness will stop at nothing to keep her man from falling for his new waifish house guest, to no avail. We catch up with the jilted aristocrat in The Demon Duchess.

Abigail Sutton does not take kindly to being dumped. Desperation leads her to seek comfort in the arms of her surly horse trainer, the mysterious Jack Johnson from America. A night of fleeting passion results in a life-altering “predicament”. Now, the baroness finds herself fighting for the attentions of an entirely different sort of man - a man who is much more than he seems - a man who might just offer her the family she’s never had. That is, if she can prove to him she is not just a pampered pain in the ass.

Her pursuit of the handsome but stubborn drifter lands the baroness in Montana of all places, where she will learn plenty of new skills - rope-tying and lasso-tossing, just to name two. Many surprises are in store for the newly thawed ice queen.

Heartbreak over one man will lead to true love with another....

what a great story, not read many second chance romances, but this ticked all the boxes for me, 2 different worlds colliding and then the chemistry between the two leading characters was hot!!..add to that the hilarious banter between them, and you have a hell of an audiobook

As with The Devil Duke, I loved the story as written by Tessa Bowen and the narration of Virginia Ferguson. Give me British accents and an American Cowboy and I know that I am set for a good listen.

The story included a few surprises which made this even better.

will be listening to more by Tessa and Virginia.

I just love Cowboys

I really enjoyed this book. I feel this book was more enjoyable as I had already met the characters in book 1 and felt like I knew them already. They have great quirks that will have you laughing!

The Demon Duchess by Tessa Bowen pulled me in immediately. Baroness Abigail came across much kinder in this book than in the Devil Duke. I enjoyed her banter with Jack Johnson aka John Jackson. This story is full of unexpected turns, it has incredible imagery, and a wonderful storyline. Virginia Ferguson performs this book with distinguishable voices for the various characters and brings them to life. I requested this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review. I will definitely listen to more books by this author and narrator.

Great Story! Great Narration!
