Christopher P. Brown
A clan of healers?! Was that even a thing?
People thought we were weak and incapable of defending ourselves and our property. Those who wished to do harm swooped down on the clan like vultures.
And that was a good thing! More enemies meant more harvest, and more material for my experiments.

Excellent rich Story

In addition to that, half of the book seems to be set in the USA while the other half seems to be set in Russia, flip-flopping between the two between chapters. Also, the author doesn't seem to have any clue about the technology or culture 1000-1500 years ago, flip-flopping with "only having catapults" to having modern lawyers, paperwork and toilets in the MC's recounting.
Also, some of the dates are changing as well. He was supposed to have been asleep for a thousand years, but some stories by are dated at ~900 years ago when he was supposed to be a sleep
Extremely sloppy writing
Plagued with consistency issues, author keeps forgetting established lore
