I was removed from my family at three years old. At thirteen, I became a mother. By seventeen, homelessness, violence and loss had already shaped much of my life.

Years later, addiction became my escape. My son was removed from my care, and once again I found myself living through the pain of a family being torn apart.

I refused to let that be the end of our story.

This true,raw,honest,inspiring memoir of how one womans trauma from the age of 3,ended up in a generational cycle.
From having lived experiences of the growing up in care system,teenage motherhood,domestic abuse,alcohol addiction,self harm,homelessness,family separation,loss,grief,living in hell and despite all that,this remarkable brave woman never gave up the hope and promise she made to her son.
Its a story of hope, triumph over adversity,the love of a mother,survival,recovery and finally breaking the generational cycle of trauma,to become the powerful woman she is today helping others to break their negative cycles.
Highly recommend this book if you are a fan of true stories and autobiographies. You won't be disappointed.

This is a very heartwarming, real life story and experience. I can hear and feel the true feelings of Tony whilst she’s reading. Absolutely outstanding book.
