The Camel Club by bestselling sensation David Baldacci is the exciting first instalment of a breathtaking series.

The Camel Club: a group of conspiracy theorists led by the mysterious Oliver Stone, who camp outside the White House. Their goal – to expose corruption at the upper echelons of US government.

The stakes are raised when the group witness the murder of an intelligence analyst. A murder the authorities seem intent on writing off as suicide. Looking at the case more closely provokes more questions than answers.

Joining forces with Secret Service Agent Alex Ford, the Camel Club prepare to shine a spotlight on a conspiracy that reaches into the heart of Washington’s corridors of power. In doing so, Ford finds out that his worst nightmare is about to happen . . .

The Camel Club is followed by The Collectors, Stone Cold, Divine Justice and Hell's Corner.

One of the world's biggest-selling thriller writers, Baldacci needs no introduction . . . Brilliant plotting, heart-grabbing action and characters to die for

Not my type of thriller. I I really enjoy Baldaccis other books where there is a central Character ; 1 Puller series ,2 Decker & 3 Robie with these you get a good back story and develop empathy with each and the plots twist and turn and books are real page burners.. This conspiracy theory nonsence was tedious and the Camel club just did not. inspire me to. delve further into their characters. e I stoped reading at 20% thankfullyAudible do credit refunds.
ill try his new female detective and take it from there !!

I really enjoyed the story the characters and pacing of another great book by Baldacci but I do really struggle with the music at start and end of chapters.

it takes me out of the book experience, feels over produced, the narration is great and sometimes less is more, please drop the music, thx.

Great listen but slightly odd production

The narrator was great, but the story was weak and background music at the end of the chapter was simply irritating. Not the greatest Baldacci. There were some good characters and hopefully the next in the series will be better.

Couldn’t wait to finish -maybe not for the right reasons!

I believe I've heard the majority of David Baldacci's novels by now. At least the ones available through Audible.
I've found them all very entertaining and most of them engrossing. I have only one small niggle and that is one to do with the 'performance' of the majority of the Readers.
Without exception the American pronunciation of certain English words have me shouting at the speakers..
Shone, notched and the like are typical. It's not a big complaint or even an important one to the majority of listeners but my History in English Grammar, Literature and Pronunciation makes me, perhaps, a little picky.
Despite this little niggle I can thoroughly recommend all of David's books. The Series in particular never fail entertain.

Superb story; small hiccups.
