I was given this book to review.

Overall I gave it a 3.

The storyline was good but not enough was done with it. I felt it was more a 1st draft rather than a complete book. The characters were good, I wanted to know about them.

I truly liked the story but it just didn’t have enough substance for me to want to spend the money/credit on.
.
The narrator did a good job.

The small story after the end was a put off as it not about the characters in the book.

I really enjoyed this and a nice little
Twist, I didn’t see coming! Those are the best!

The singing is so unnecessary and incredibly cringey!! Really very jarring! Really not sure why it was included!

Good story but…

Really enjoyed this book. Good characters and a nicely rounded story. Great narration too. Would read more by this author.

Fabulous listen

I enjoyed this second book of the Murder at the Opulence Hotel series. It was engaging and had a wonderful array of characters. There was one thing I really didn't like. I've never been keen when an author uses song lyrics in a book, and usually I would skip past this if I'm reading a physical copy. As I listened to the audiobook, I found the singing off-putting and cringy, but maybe that's just me. Other than that, I would recommend this series of novellas, and I'm going straight on to book 3.

A fun read!
