When three men turn up in their sleepy little town of Tallowwood, Harry and Asher know something’s wrong. Not because someone could find them, but the fact that Asher’s informant and oldest friend, Yunho, failed to alert them. Messages and phone calls unanswered; Harry and Asher go to Thailand to find Yunho is missing.

Harry and Asher find themselves thrown back into the game of shadows and murder, in a race across the globe to find him and find who’s behind the kidnapping.

The list of their enemies is long, their web of entanglement even longer, and Harry and Asher are about to find out once and for all who is predator and who is prey.

I really enjoyed the book. The story was interesting and narration was really good. There was more violence in this book than the previous one but it was still good. I liked the book as much as the first. There were surprises throughout, even at the end.

Great book

Brilliant to hear more about Harry and Asher, loved the introduction of Milvis and wrapping up of Asher’s narrative arc. Hoping for so much more in future, fingers crossed!! Well written, brilliantly narrated and a fantastic espionage story.
Plus, a Tallowood cameo from August and Jake, who will be forever my favourites.

Fantastic nail biting sequel!

I don't think that anyone proofed this audiobook at all, which is disappointing. I expect better from N.R. Walker and Glen Loyd. The audiobook is poorly edited, there are many repeated takes with duplicate lines that are left in this retail product. Also in Chapter 19 the last 6 mins, from the time stamp of 16:40 is chapter 20, then chapter 20 was uploaded again, which of course made the audiobook seem longer. This is such an unprofessional error. I'm surprised this audiobook made it through Audible QC.

Good book ruined by poor audio editing
