First, there was the arrangement - a simple, yet salacious fix to the problems looming in their marriage - but when things took a tragic turn, Peter’s and Ainsley’s lives quickly fell into disarray. Now, their secrets have been exposed. They know the truth - about each other and their marriage - and as they struggle to move on from their past and the damage they’ve caused, new problems begin to surface.

Someone they love is hiding a catastrophic secret. The fragile ground they stand on is starting to crumble. Their family is being torn apart at the seams. And, maybe worst of all, a threat from the past is lurking, ready to unveil the things they’d kill to keep hidden. They thought the nightmare they’d made it through was over, but the worst is just beginning….

Once, they vowed to do anything to make their marriage work. Now, that vow will push every boundary they have left. In order to survive, they’ll need to completely trust each other. But can they? Last time they did, things went terribly wrong…. This time, it might be worse. If there’s one thing that’s certain, their secrets are too big to let anyone walk away alive.

I preferred the arrangement - this one has a twist I didn't like. Won't spoil it.

Had a few twists

After enjoying The Arrangement a while back, I was looking forward to this follow up. Although I felt gripped in places, it soon became clear this was not a winner for me. I found the book overloaded with unrealistic plot twists and it was also quite confusing at times. Such a shame as 'book one' was brilliant. Female voice was also very robotic, which was annoying.

Confusing and very far fetched!

This was as good as audiobook 1! Purchased the final installment Audiobook 3 to listen to next. I’m a new fan of this author and have 8 titles in my library to listen to yet. This story flowed nicely from the story in book 1 and a fab ending ready for the final installment. The narration was brilliant and so glad it was the same two authors who narrated book 1 and I believe the next one, book 3. So pleased I stumbled across this little gem of a collection when looking thru the monthly sale selection where I found d book 1. Since then bought the other two titles using my credits. Have binge listened in less than 12 hours on this title. A must have for any fans x

Audiobook number 2 did not disappoint in this series at all!!!! 5 stars plus 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I enjoyed the first book in the series and was looking forward to reading the sequel, but I was very disappointed. It is hugely underwhelming. Very unbelievable and downright silly in places. Had me shouting out loud at more absolutely ridiculous it is. Managed half of it, but just couldn’t bear any more . It a waste of a credit in my opinion.

Absolutely awful
