A favor for a new friend leads to an unexpected awakening for Alon Pherigo—the generally deferential, mostly contented owner and operator of an antiques and collectibles store located in San Francisco.
Recommended to fans of slow burns, community living, or a smattering of romance.

The story is a lovely cosy story, with genuinely likeable characters, which once it gets going gives insights into community living that was all new to me, and I found fascinating.
However... the audio production isn't good. It sounds like a lot of retakes were done, but in a different environment, so parts of sentence can have a clear change of acoustics.
Cosy story, with interesting insights
