Having always liked Sandra Brown books, I've come across this one, which I never read when it first came out. This book does not age well. The female protagonist is obsessive, controlling and borderline abusive with her male counterpart - all under the guise of love. She stalks him, tricks him, is coercive and lies -all excused by her being in love. It might have felt romantic when it first came out but I feel in this day and age it just feels outdated, insensitive and inappropriate.
