This is a collection of flash and microfiction stories, each that will take less time than having a cup of tea to read. Extended from a book previously released last year this is a mixture of genres including magic, mystery, romance, science fiction, fantasy, steampunk, mythology, horror, history and contemporary; many with a splash of humour. There’s a smattering of short poems for your added enjoyment. Dip in and enjoy a story with your favourite brew.
If you are new to flash and microfiction, they are what they say on the box—very short stories, in this case, of between around 100-1000 words. If you enjoy quick and snappy fiction, this is the book for you.
‘This anthology is exactly what it advertises: tales for any taste. I was surprised at the variety of genres that were depicted. Sci-fi, Fantasy, Mystery. You name it, it was featured in these pages… The writing was witty at times, heartrending at others’—Ivy Whitaker
