Grim: a nickname given to me by my father, the Ruler of Tales, an East End underground fight club.

Tales you win. Heads you lose. And the fighters of Tales never lose. The men my father ruled were his faithful soldiers sworn to protect the club, him, me.

Until one day, his most loyal soldier, Beast, makes a decision that changes my story forever. But this is no fairy tale and I don't own a crown.

This is real life. Bloody, violent, and filled with alpha men who use their fists to settle every dispute.

And if the man who calls me Princess thinks he can break my heart and get away with it, he can think again.

This is Grim and Beast's love story. You may recognise them from Academy of Stardom series.

Very good and very well read! The story kept my interest going. And just how much Beast loves Grimm is so touching.

Bought the second book in the duet before I'd finished the first, that should say it all about the book. Both narrators are brilliant, this is the first audio book I've heard from James Joseph, holy smokes he's fantastic!

love it ❤️

4.5⭐️
Reading this through audio was tricky at first as you hsve to get used to the Narrators voices. However, once the story got going I really enjoyed it. I can't wait to listen to number 2 and find out what happens next. Really great writing by Bea Paige.

The FMC is a strong 17 year old woman that had to grow up fast due to the environment she was brought up in. She is in love with 1 of her father's enforcers, and things get really complicated, specially as her father starts behaving as a major ah. The story was good, but there wassomething missing that i can't quite pin point.
the narration was great.

Just okay
