Switched: the first book in the Trylle Trilogy.

When Wendy Everly was six-years-old, her mother was convinced she was a monster and tried to kill her. It isn't until 11 years later that Wendy discovers her mother might have been right. With the help of Finn Holmes, Wendy finds herself in a world she never knew existed - a world both beautiful and frightening, and Wendy's not sure she wants to be a part of it.

Eleştirmen yorumları

"Vampire and werewolf lovers beware; this trilogy opener offers readers a new take on an unexpected breed of mystical beings. Readers who can suspend preconceived notions and open themselves up to this new interpretation are in for a midwinter version of a good beach read." ( Kirkus Reviews)
"Wendy is a flawed antihero, which helps differentiate her from the throng of paranormal-romance heroines, and the potential for development, both dramatic and romantic, should make readers anxious for the next installment of the Trylle trilogy." ( Booklist)

But now in sixth form its harder to find time to read, and so I thought lets get the audio book of my fave book so I dont have to pay attention too much since I know it so well. Unfortunately I'm not sure I like how its read. Therese isnt bad, and may just be my english-ness talking, but the pronunciation was weird, especially considering in Kanin chronicles there's literally a pronunciation guide. Either way, I still love the book

Loved the book all my life, well since I first read it at age of 10.

This really is a brilliant story, certainly a new twist on any troll story I've ready.
This is well written, the story grips you and you don't want it to end

Brilliant story, a new twist on trolls

My favourite trilogy! I have them all in paperback form and religiously read them once a year but I thought I'd use some of my credits and listen to them. The narrator does a fantastic job of this story.

fantastic

This story gives an excellent twist to Troll society. I loved the fast pace and twists with more to come. To think that trolls and such like live amongst us would be fascinating. Down loading the next part of this trilogy right now !

Who knew Trolls existed in today's society !
