At age 20, Molly Shakespeare knows a lot. She knows Descartes and Kant. She knows academia and Oxford. She knows that the people who love you leave you. She knows how to be alone.

But when Molly leaves England's gray skies behind to start a new life at the University of Alabama, she finds that she has a lot to learn - she didn't know a summer could be so hot, she didn't know students could be so intimidating, and she certainly didn't know just how much the folks of Alabama love their football.

When a chance encounter with notorious star quarterback Romeo Prince leaves her unable to think of anything but his chocolate-brown eyes, dirty-blond hair, and perfect physique, Molly soon realizes that her quiet, solitary life is about to dramatically change forever....

"Anna Parker-Naples's portrayal of Molly Juliet Shakespeare captures the dramatic highs and lows in this modern-day spin on a Shakespeare classic. Molly is a teaching assistant working on her master's degree at the University of Alabama, where she becomes the object of desire of star quarterback Romeo Prince. Parker-Naples's English accent and lilting voice bring out Molly's uniqueness as well as her innocence and moments of sadness when she's reminded of her lonely past. This sweetness is transformed into a rough sexiness during Molly's erotic interludes with Romeo...she differentiates voices well and knows how to pace her reading to project the hostility encountered by the young lovers." I love these stories have read all the books and decided to listen on audible. The stories are still awesome but the narration is dreadful.

The person narration Molly has obviously never heard a northern UK accent!! Spoil the book for me as I found the narration dreadful.

This is supper sweet, and a beautiful story about two collage students that fall at first sight. He is an American football quarter back and she is prodigy philosophy assistant professor and is studying to became a professor herself. Their romance is cute and sweet, drama and tragedy ensues, but we get a HEA.
I hadn't read Tillie Cole in a while and the last time it was the hades hangmen series. This one is much lighter but still manage to give me the feels.
Totally recommend it. Free on ku, and I got the audio book too. Narration is perfection, the voices for the characters were beautifully done. Made the story even better.
