From #1 Amazon and USA Today Bestselling Author Bella Matthews comes an enemies to lovers, forced proximity, sports romance.

Rome Beneventi is a walking, talking bad decision—six feet, five inches of tattoos, temptation, and trouble wrapped in a smirk and dipped in sin. This MMA champion should come with a warning label . . . or at the very least a disclaimer.

I sell books, and he breaks bones.

We are not on the same page.

At least not until he discovers my secret and instead of keeping it, blackmails me into fake dating him.

Now I’m living in his house.

Lying to my family and friends.

Playing nice for the cameras.

And trying not to melt every time he calls me “baby” like it’s more than a show.

I told myself I’d never fall for him.

That I was too smart to love the devil in designer clothes.

But the thing about enemies?

Sometimes they’re the only ones who see you clearly.

And faking it with Rome Beneventi?

Yeah . . . it stopped feeling fake a long time ago.

Sweet Addiction is book 2 in the Love & Legacy series and it can read entirely fine as a standalone. I haven't yet read book 1 or other interconnected ins where characters appear and I never felt lost or if I missed something. It was an absolutely addictive read, I was completely consumed by Dillan & Rome’s journey from the start. I have recently discovered Bella and the way she writes and delivers her stories is just so perfect. I just get so easily lost in them. There's little to no drama, just a little miscommunication which isn't my favorite but Bella made it work! Going back to Kroydon Hills after reading the holiday novella. It's such a charming town with fantastic characters.

The chemistry between Dillan & Rome was absolutely explosive. The tension, the angst and the desire was just making me melt. These 2 had the best banter, I loved how they interacted together, the group of friends, the families, I loved how everyone was so close and there for one another. Their relationship evolved naturally, it didn't feel rushed or overly lengthy which I really appreciated. I thought the plot was really fun to follow, especially with the little suspenseful moments. It was the perfect balance of heart, heat, humour and fun and I can't wait to go back and read book 1.

Overall, this was a really fun and easy read. If you haven't read a Bella Matthews book you definitely need to remedy that. They're a lot of fun and have beautiful romances.

🎧 The narration by Angelina Rocca & Stephen Dexter was so good. I had a blast listening to them. They played their characters to perfection. The banter and humor shined through and well as the emotions. It was a great performance and I recommend the audio!
