Özet

Trapped in bumper-to-bumper traffic, Lilian is caught up in a maelstrom of death when the outbreak hits Johannesburg, a city numbering in the millions. With no one to rely on but herself, she has to find a way off the bloody streets before it's too late. But with a six-month-old baby and a hysterical toddler in tow, escape seems unlikely.

Battered and abused, Maria looks back upon her life with husband Rolf with loathing. Caught in a prison from which she cannot escape, she's powerless to change her destiny and forever bound to a man she hates. Until the virus grants her an unexpected chance at revenge.

All it takes is one mistake...

As the sun sets against the backdrop of the African veldt and living nightmares walk the streets in the shape of their loved one's bodies, humanity's last hope rests in the hands of ordinary men and women called to do extraordinary things.

For fans of all things zombie, comes your next great listen, an exhilarating series that you won't want to end! Survive Another Day is the prequel to Last Another Day and delivers eight nerve-wracking stories that will show you how it all began.

Survive Another Day, by Baileigh Higgins, is a collection of eight zombie thriller stories chronicling the beginning of the zombie outbreak in South Africa.

In terms of thrill and gore, this one ticks all the boxes. It's ominous, fast, and gives you everything you'd expect from a good ol' zom-horror.

On the flip side of that, don't expect anything particularly unique from the plot or characters. Some of the characters felt a little 2D, nothing jarring though, and if you're just looking for a quick thriller then I'd definitely recommend this.

Good ol' zombie thriller

Good collection that gives you a little extra sneak into some of the characters. I unfortunately listened to this one before the other so spoiled some bits for myself but still enjoyed it.

enjoyed this.

I thought this was excellent. This is exactly what I want from a zombie story, its epic, tragic, sad, theres fear and desperation and noone is safe.
The narrator was fantastic (whether his accent was perfect or not) he made me feel like I was listening to different people and separates the narration from the speech very well. I cant wait to check out the following books.

Great collection of stories with a great narrator!
