Eric Vall
In an academy that trains people to deal with monsters and mayhem, there's one challenge even Gryff may not be ready to face: final exams.
On the plus side, he'll capture a giant armored monster and get to ride around on its shoulder while the beast smites things with its sword.

I have a varied collection in my library however, I have never been hooked on a series like this before.
I've just downloaded the fifth book in this series and book six is on its way.
Great characterisation, Great narration Great story
The best thing about Eric Vall (aside from his quality writing) is his prolificacy. The man seems to never stop writing. He has new books out every week and the Audible versions are never far behind.
I'm fairly new to his work but have five of his books in my Audible library.
An awesome series
