Stud: A boss, knob, or nail head...or, you know, the hot guy who’s way too young to keep asking me out with that adorably earnest smile...

It’s been three years since West walked into my bar and asked me out for the first time. I was relieved he stopped asking after the first few “no's" and a way-too-good-to-be-real kiss. He’s 15 years younger than I am; it can only lead to trouble.

Of course, now he’s running through people off dating apps like it’s his job and wearing these lace panties that look really unfair on someone as furry and muscular as he is, and, um...what was I talking about?

I probably shouldn’t sabotage his dates, but I’m only human. I might not be ready to admit that I want him, but I’m definitely not ready to let anyone else have him either.

He’s too perfect, too hot, and I am in way too much trouble...

Note: Stud is a friends-to-lovers, construction-worker-in-panties, omg-so-much-swoon story that happens to be the fifth audiobook in the Four Bears Construction Series. Every audiobook in this series can be listened to as a stand-alone, but they’re a lot more fun together!

This is the fifth book in the Four Bears construction series and the first book that ventures outside of the four “bears” - Cole, Stone, Everett, and Ollie. The focus of this story is West, the nephew of Stone’s partner, Dare. 23-year-old West, an apprentice at Four Bears Construction, falls for the 37-year-old Sawyer, the overwhelmed owner of the local bar, Woolies. West comes on strong from their first meeting and persistently tries to get Sawyer to go out with him. Sawyer steadfastly and repeatedly declines.

These two have great chemistry and years' worth of UST built up between them. The couples in this series are all super sexy and their banter is hysterical. There’s a strong found family aspect to these books which I really enjoy, and Stud is no exception. The road to HEA for West and Sawyer is a bit circuitous, and Sawyer’s resistance and mixed message didn’t completely make sense to me, especially as the story progressed. But overall, West and Sawyer make a sweet couple and Stud is an enjoyable story.

Liam DiCosimo and Tim Paige continue their narration of the series and this may be their strongest audio yet. It was immersive, the voices were terrific and appropriate for the characters. I read this first and then read and listened and the audio definitely augments what is already a great story all on its own. Highly recommend.

Another terrific Four Bears story

This is an absolutely brilliant book, I laughed at Sawyer’s antics. It’s a sweet book though they do have some struggles as their relationship blossoms. Tim and Liam do a brill job in narrating the story.

I enjoyed this book. It was a little imbalanced in the relationship dynamics, but not enough to bother me too much. It was an easy listen.

I liked it
