Do not fear the shadows, but what lives inside them.

A thousand years have passed since the last Blood Tide, when the goddess Narcissi Herself fought to defend humankind from certain extermination by an ancient enemy. But when She failed during the final battle, She was forced to retreat into the safety of Lostwood's shadows, never to appear again. Legend has it She planted Herself in the earth, allowing the forest to grow around Her. Unbeknownst to the rest of the world, the goddess is now defended by her army of Sightless, Guardians, and Protectors. Collectively, they call themselves the Forsworn.

David’s writing is phenomenal, he pulls you into a fast paced epic world and creates characters you’re going to either love or hate in equal measures, and Tim G-R knows how to bring them all to life better than any other narrator out there. Already have Soulsworn preordered - it’s only a month but it’ll be a long month! Thanks again guys!

Another Masterpiece by Two of my Favourite Gents!

Another great book, can't wait for the next. All of David's books thus far have been excellent. Knightfall being my favourite, but this is excellent. The narration is again superb, however at the start of this book, I did have to check my settings, to make sure I wasn't listening at 1.25 speed! It seemed rushed. Not sure if it was a re-read and there were running out of time... But it did spoil it. a tad, Thankfully that didn't last too long and the narration slowed down, and returned to the usual excellence. A good continuation of the story, and I am already looking forward to book 4.

Another excellent book

I have just listened to the first part of Stormsworn and lost all motivation to listen on. the first book had a decent plot, some variety in characters and story. The second book started down the Teen girl angst path and now book 3 hours of Teen girls who know better no excitement no development no fun.
I know the series has lost me when I find myself re listening to Abercrombie, Ryan or Moncur after random chapters of the book for some stimulation.

1ok, 2 not so good 3 will not finish
