A Space Wolves Novel

The Space Wolves are savage heroes, unmatched for ferocity in battle – but as events spiral out of control, can even Njal Stormcaller keep them in line?

LISTEN TO IT BECAUSE

Chris Wraight cements his reputation as a master of Space Wolves fiction, in a story that places the powerful Space Wolves psyker Njal Stormcaller at the forefront of a ferocious conflict. It's time for a literal psychic storm!

THE STORY

The Space Wolves are the sons of Leman Russ, feral warrior-kings of Fenris. Few can match these savage heroes for ferocity in battle, and as events on the plague-wracked world of Ras Shakeh spin out of control, they join the Imperial force descending upon the blighted planet.

When the famed Rune Priest Njal Stormcaller arrives to reinforce the embattled Jarnhamar pack, he finds his battle-brothers at one another's throats, each pursuing their own agendas. While he struggles to bring them in line, the forces of the Ecclesiarchy fight to retake their world and uncover the sinister secret behind Ras Shakeh's corruption, a secret that threatens the survival of the Imperium itself.

it elaborates on what happened in the first book, give us better insight into the characters and is full of more action...

it's still more tell than show, but that's my main complaint

Good sequel

The voice quality was fantastic and the look into the main characters and their quirks was fascinating. The ultimate antagonist and backstory was all interesting, and it’s always nice to see the wolves at their rebellious and unpredictability.

Recommend even if you’ve not read a Stormcaller book before as it’s a gentle nudge into his orbit

Only issue I had was with each of the characters acting and being so alike it was hard to identify who was who at times.

solid warhammer 40k book
