Editör yorumları
From the author of Mermaids comes a sequel to that much-praised saga of life, love, and family. Starfish once again picks up with Charlotte Flax, this time 27 years later as she attempts to raise a grown son and celebrate the birthday of her mother. Elizabeth Evans performs Patty Dann's story with the same humor and empathy demonstrated by Cher and Winona Ryder in the film adaptation of the prequel. Evans and Dann are a knockout combo.
Eleştirmen yorumları
"For all the fans of Mermaids and its fabulous film adaptation, Starfish is an enchanting sequel. Starring a cast of quirky originals, its plot twists will make you laugh - after you wipe away tears. Patty Dann's writing has sparkle and radiance." (Sally Koslow, author of The Late, Lamented Molly Marx and The Widow Waltz)
