This is another great instalment of the railway girls, this time concentrating on the lives of Alison, Persephone and Collette. It shows further developments of their characters and their relationships during the war and how the women on the railways helped towards the event leading to d day. Julia Franklins narration was brilliant as usual bringing the characters to life

A fabulous story of hope and friendship

Loved the series and the girls individual stories and thought the books were well narrated.I liked the way Maisie Thomas mixed the different classes together doing their different jobs on the railways and also socialising after work.
