The witches are gone. The inn is open. Peace and quiet? Yeah, right.

Brigid Donovan’s battle with the witches is finally over. Her new supernatural bed and breakfast is open for business, and she’s ready to embrace her new life as a low-key small business owner.

But peace never lasts—especially when there’s a power vacuum calling out to every ambitious supernatural in the region. Brigid doesn’t care who claims the territory… as long as they leave her out of it. Unfortunately, that’s not part of their plan.

To make matters worse, someone decided to drop off their unwanted poltergeist in her newly opened inn. Because obviously that’s what she needed right now.

With Mr. Mittens the ever-grumpy protector, her magical allies, and a fiercely loyal friend group, Brigid’s doing her best to keep things from falling apart.

Can she keep the inn afloat—and keep her head above water? Only time will tell.

Book Four in the Splintered Magic series—Splintered Haven proves peace is overrated, ghosts are rude, and Brigid is over it.

Once again this author delivers another intriguing and compelling story in this awesome series. I love all the characters old and new. I’m hanging in now waiting to see what happens in the next book! Great narration too.

Overall, this was a good continuation of the series in my opinion. While it did drag a bit for me, and that almost caused me to lower my review, ultimately, I ended up enjoying it. I liked that there was movement in several aspects of the story like the B&B opening as well as with some of the secondary characters. There was also a new villain that arose after the defeat of the witches. This was a stronger, more formidable foe and that brought with it some interesting turns in the story. But there were so many things left unresolved here as well as more issues that were brought to light. Things have become much more complicated and for the most part I’m interested in seeing how things will be resolved. The narration by Phillipa Miller did continue as strong as it’d been in previous books so no disappointment there.
