The glittering fortunes of the Massot family, vastly wealthy owners of one of the last great aristocratic jewellery firms in Paris, were plunged into confusion seven years ago by the disappearance of Pierre Massot, the family's charismatic head. Now, his beautiful young wife, Sophie, has decided that the family and the firm must move on to survive. But some people have other ideas. A trail of scandal is waiting to be uncovered, one that could rip the Massots' carefully constructed world to shreds.

Sweeping from the elegant salons of Paris to the bleak mines of Communist-era Russia and on to the glittering showbiz lifestyle of modern L.A., Sparkles is a sizzling story of ambition, passion, and betrayal.

For all lovers of romantic fiction, this one is for you. The plot is great with many surprises and the characters are fun and well read by the narrator. I loved reading this book and now love listening to it in the car and while up at night with the newest addition to our family.

So many twists and turns, I couldn’t wait to listen to it everyday. I love all of Louise Bagshaws books but this was the best. I would highly recommend. Beautiful descriptions of Paris, jewels, chateaus and style of clothes , pure glamour of tradition . A must read for anybody , like me, who enjoys these things . Thank you.

I really enjoyed this book. At first, I did not think it would keep me interested, but the plot developed fast, with constant twists and turns to a final climax that pulled all the loose ends together. Very well written and read.

Clever plot twists kept me entertained.

....I loved this book. The story was great with twists and turns that kept you hanging. Would definitely recommend. Sorry it had to come to an end ... I got completely absorbed in the characters and struggled to stop listening ... I got quite stroppy when work got in the way

Couldn’t stop listening...
