Welcome to Somewhere in Time: Volume One, the inaugural book in my pre-teen history series, where the past is not just learned but experienced.
In this exciting volume, you’ll meet Julia Margaret Cameron, an extraordinary pioneer in 19th-century photography. Renowned as one of the greatest portrait artists of her time, Julia’s creative genius was closely intertwined with that of British poet Sir Alfred Tennyson. In 1841, Tennyson commissioned Julia to create groundbreaking photographic illustrations for his revered work, Idylls of the King.
Through vivid storytelling and rich historical context, Volume One invites young listeners into Julia’s remarkable world and the thrilling era of medieval knights. This book is brimming with evocative photographs of Julia’s family, friends, and descendants, offering a captivating glimpse into their lives and times.
Designed to spark curiosity and ignite a passion for history, this eBook is a visual and narrative treasure trove that will engage and inspire young minds, making the past come alive in a way that only a top-selling author can deliver.
