After powerful psychic Blue Billings fell in love with Levi Black, he believed their biggest challenges would arise from Blue’s ability to see and speak to the dead. So it’s rather alarming when he and Levi are confronted with a spate of new—and frightening—problems that have to do with the realm of the living.

A sadistic serial killer is stalking their beloved York, and Blue himself is in the killer’s crosshairs. Blue and Levi must race against time to catch the murderer as the deaths increase in ferocity. But when they’re forced from their home, and close acquaintances seemingly disappear like mist over the Minster’s spires, Blue finds that he is completely and terrifyingly on his own, and for the first time in his life, he’s without his powers.

This is the third book in the bestselling Black and Blue series. The books are meant to be listened to in order.

There are descriptions of torture and violent death in this book.

I loved the whole storyline and I do hope that there will be more adventures with Blue and Levi and their family and friends. Would love for Blues father to actually have a place in his life. I also like to see Baldwin to come back and ask for help. I liked him even if he was horrible a lot of times.

Great story & great narrator

Agatha Christie with gay lovers, magic and ghosts! Well performed, written and woven. Has you screaming for them to look at the clue and put it together just before they do. Twists & turns throughout!

Amazing Story. Gripping Suspense.

Wonderful narration from Joel Leslie and a dark story. I do hope that Blue Levi and Will have more adventures.

Joel Leslie really brought this book to life for me. I loved it when I read it with my eyes and I loved it even more when I listened to it. I love Lily Morton's writing and this story was fantastic.

A great story!

Very much enjoyed it. It's a witty, fun and tense end to the series. All three are fun but felt the characters were nicely formed and developed by this book. Narration fantastic, two completely different accents done to perfection with a while assemblage of side characters.

A great third book to the series
