A strange house A ghost from the past

As soon as she moves into Hillside, Gwenda knows there’s something strange about this house.

A sealed room. A hidden door. The apparition of a young woman being strangled.

But strangest of all – this all seems quite familiar.

As her friend Jane Marple investigates, the answer seems to lie in a crime committed nearly twenty years ago.

The killer may have gotten away with murder. But Miss Marple is never far behind.

Never underestimate Miss Marple

Overall another great Marple mystery narrated beautifully by Stephanie Cole. As usual Agatha Christine's array of complex characters combine to create a rich reader experience or in this case listener! Enjoy 📖

This is my favourite Miss Marple mystery, and Stephanie Cole's fantastic narration more than does it justice.

The best - and creepiest - Miss Marple

Great narrator who is perfect for this story, excellent character voices and absolutely perfect Marple. This story is up there with the best of Agatha yet not so well known, written during the war, and published later ... Go on .... Try it....a real treat and a must for all fans of Christie.

Quick moving and full of suspense

Agatha Christie at her best. I do like Miss Marple books and this is one of the best. I read it years ago and it's a pleasure to add this audible version to my growing library.
