This bad-boy hockey player is about to meet his match....

Falling down is an accident. Staying down is a choice. Going down is a career-changer...that's the one I did.

How was I supposed to know that the NHL's toughest enforcer, the Red Wings' laundry room, and one security video would be my downfall?

I've spent more time in the penalty box than any other player in the NHL, but this time I really screwed up. How was I supposed to know that one night and one choice would be worse than all of my transgressions on the ice? Now, I've lost my team, my sponsors, and my publicist. For most people, it's bend or break. For me, it's melt or harden. My decision became obvious when I walked into my new PR firm, and she was sitting behind the desk.

Contains mature themes.

I didn't hate it but I didn't love it either. The storyline was predictable and I couldn't warm up to the female lead at all...she was such a doormat!

This is not a real enemies to lovers as they were friends first, they become kind of enemies and back to lovers again. Their plenty of tension and angst from our grumpy mmc and the positive fmc.
There is some spice but not as hot as previous book. Still it was a fun story and quite short too.
I feel that there wasn't enough grovel from him, I dislike when they are forgiven too easily.
Free on plus catalogue audible and KU too.

Not even half way through & can’t take any more! Female is cringeworthy in so many ways! 1st book was likeable, book 2 a disaster!!
