Özet

A paranormal women’s fiction (PWF) that’ll have you walking on air!

Luella Campbell is having the weirdest day ever. Getting fired from her job at the sunscreen factory for no good reason is bad enough, but when a mysterious dog brings a tempest into her former workplace, Luella’s life is completely upended by the sudden gift of wild and windy magical powers.

With the help of her ride-or-die best friends, her motorcycle-riding mother, and a romantic blast from the past, Luella must find a way to make ends meet while unlocking the mysteries of her newfound magic...and the secrets hidden in the picturesque town of Sparkle Beach.

Sometimes, an empty nest means it’s your turn to fly.

Luella begins the story unemployed, out of pocket, in a relationship with a man who puts her down, and worried about how she will fund her daughter's education. She ends up having her own magical powers awakened and turning her life around. The descriptions of magic are beautiful and the relationships between the women are warm, supportive and empowering in a magical and everyday way.

When Luella gets fired from her job for no reason at all ,then a strange dog only her and her two friends can see creates a whirlwind in her workplace . Things only get weirder after that and when they all realise they have magical powers they have to figure out why and how to use them. Enjoyed listening to this book the characters were good and the narrator did a good job.

So this book was by a new author for me but I’ve been enjoying this genre lately and the cover drew my attention. I wasn’t real sure what to expect from this book but I can say that I loved it. I loved how the story had a major plot twist. But I really do think there’s more to come yet. I don’t think it’s all over just yet. So I will be keeping my eye open for any more books from this author.
This was also a new narrator for me and well I was certainly pleased with her work.

This story had a great narrator! It made it really enjoyable with the age and accent represented. The story is a cool premise of getting magic with your besties even later in life. My only gripe is that there is a lot of talking about her daughter for everything. I’m a mom and I think it could have been dialed about by at least 25%!

Cool premise

Silver Spells by Kate Moseman
I enjoyed this story and the characters. It was a fun read that I really just didn't want to put down. The audio narration is well done.
Looking forward to more in this series!
